The GYR9NE-ARC series AFDD is an advanced arc fault detection and protection solution. As a modular residual current breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO), it combines fire prevention technology with robust electrical safety for residential and commercial AC circuits (rated up to 40A). This 1P+N circuit breaker intelligently detects and distinguishes between normal operational arcs (e.g., from switches) and dangerous series, parallel, or ground fault arcs—automatically cutting off power within milliseconds to eliminate fire risks.
Key features include integrated leakage protection (30mA/100mA/300mA sensitivity, Type A/AC) and overvoltage detection (275±5% tolerance), ensuring comprehensive protection against electrical hazards. With a Type C tripping curve and 6kA breaking capacity, it responds instantly to overloads, short circuits, and ground faults while complying with IEC/EN62606, IEC/EN61009-1, GB/T31143, and GB16917.1 standards.
